About Me

Whenever I have the chance and am feeling idle in my current location, I book weekend vacations or sometimes even one way tickets without any thought or worry of returning home. I've hitchhiked across 5 countries, biked the Pacific Coast, moved to Scotland on a romantic whim, climbed the Pyramid of the Moon,  cycled with circus clowns in Berlin, skinny dipped in Barcelona, slept under a meteor shower in butt fuck France, and had a dance party during a monsoon in Busan. Throughout these travels I've collected not only memories, but found pieces of paper, and train tickets used for collages. I use these to create a visual reference of my experiences. My work is then the manifestation  of my connection with the metaphysical and my attempt to give substance to the intangible. The existential philosophy I obtain correlates with various ideas about the disposition of an individual’s connection with the environment and the coexistence we all collectively share. I take pleasure in the poetic qualities of line and shadow and strive to create a dialog that does not only seek to solve the mysteries of the universe, but rather to simply explore these riddles with an excited fascination.

I received my degree from Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, Missouri where I focused in Sculpture and Art History, after one year of Foundations at the Milwaukee Instutitute of Art and Design.

Adventure and authentic experiences are an essential part of what makes us who we are. I've hitchhiked across 5 countries, biked the Pacific Coast, moved to Scotland on a romantic whim, climbed the Pyramid of the Moon, cycled with circus clowns in Berlin, skinny dipped in the Mediterranean Sea, and slept under a meteor shower in the south of France. I’m interested in taking these embedded  memories and creating a disposition of my connection with the environment and the coexistence we all share through three-dimensional designs.

Currently, I am employed at the School of the Art Institute.
