Cast bronze pizelle
Inspired by the artist's heritage, Cafarelli baked, pressed, and formed each pizelle into small bowls, dishes, and coasters that were then transformed into bronze using the lost wax process. Pizelles are traditional Italian waffle cookies that are often sprinkled with powered sugar or flavored with anise.
